Controls
Game Screen
- Left Stick: Move the character forward, backward, left, and right.
- Jump (Nintendo Switch (B button) or DualShock4 (X button)): Jump.
- Right Stick: Control the camera.
- Menu: (Nintendo Switch + button, DualShock4 (Option)): Open the menu.
- Hint (Nintendo Switch - button, DualShock4 (Press the touchpad)):
- Camera Reset (Nintendo Switch R button, DualShock4 (R1)): Face the camera directly in front of the player.
Menu Screen
- Left Stick: Move the cursor up and down, left and right to switch menus
- Left Stick: Move the cursor up and down, left and right to switch menus
- Confirm Button: (Nintendo Switch (B button) or DualShock 4 (X button or Circle button for JP/ASIA)))
- Cancel Button: (Nintendo Switch (A button) or DualShock 4 (Circle button or Circle button for JP/ASIA)))
Control Techniques
Character Movement
The left stick moves the character. Movement is possible forward, backward, left, and right.
The jump button jumps in place. Jumps up to one block high.
Use the B button to jump over obstacles.
This is the most basic of basics. Learn this first. By combining left stick movement and the jump button, you can jump over platforms.
Falling
Falling off the stage counts as one miss.
Fall Recovery
You will recover as long as you have at least one life remaining. Don't worry if you fall off the stage.
Camera Rotation
Use the right stick to rotate the camera focused on the player.
Fall Damage
Falling from a certain height will cause damage.
Camera Reset 1
Press the R button to reset the camera to a position behind the player.
Stage Strategy
Items
Stages may contain items. Obtaining them will grant you certain abilities.
Hints
You can view hints from the menu screen.
Number of Stages
30 stages in total! Stages 1-30.
Difficulty
Two types: Normal and Hard.
Coins
Appear on Hard difficulty. Collect them as much as you can.
Local Multiplayer
Two-player mode:
3 players
4 players
UI
Health Gauge
The three hearts in the upper left corner represent your health. When they reach zero, you will restart.
Menu
Restart
Selecting Restart from the menu will return you to the starting point or a midpoint.
Advanced Techniques
Beware of high damage from great heights! If it's too high, you'll take a lot of damage.
Make Use of Items
Obtaining the dash item shoes will allow you to dash.
Obtaining the jump item will allow you to double jump.
Items obtained during a stage only have an effect during that stage.
Hints are Important
You can also call up hints with the - (minus) button, which is useful in multiplayer.
Skip Camera Effects
If a camera effect is in progress, you can skip it by pressing the R button.
